I AM DROWNING - You enter a submarine, and your connection with the outside world is cut off. You do not remember how you got here. And you cannot get out. The hatches are battened down tightly.

You want to resist, but you have no energy for that.

You want to float, but you fail.

Something pulls you down.

 

You dive to the depth, and everything that you knew and got used to gets distorted with every meter.

Sounds get muffled, colors become less saturated, smells dissolve, everything becomes tasteless. You remember that you love someone, but you do not feel it. You remember how happy you were, but you do not believe that you will be happy again. You had so many aspirations, but you do not want anything now. You give up.  And it seems like the only right way out is to lie low forever.
